OpenTofu

A standalone path through OpenTofu, the Linux Foundation fork of Terraform. Beginner covers why it forked, installing the tofu CLI, its drop-in compatibility with Terraform HCL, and state. Intermediate handles the real work: migrating an existing Terraform project, the OpenTofu registry, remote state and backends, and environments. Advanced goes where Terraform cannot — client-side state and plan encryption, early/dynamic variable evaluation and provider-defined functions — then policy, scanning, and securing OpenTofu in CI/CD. Worked HCL and real command output throughout; each level ends with a self-test feeding a rotating final exam.
